Hello friends! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged here on the site and there’s SO much to report. Just last week, I returned from a trip to Dubai after completing the Master Instructor program for the EBFA (Evidence Based Fitness Academy - founded and operated by my good friend and mentor, Dr. Emily Splichal). We had an amazing group of fitness professionals attending the course. I’m highly honored to be a part of this elite group and will soon start teaching the Level One Barefoot Training Specialist course for EBFA (photo above it with EBFA founder Dr. Emily Splichal, Federico Fluz Luzi, and Stefano Baldini).
Two weeks prior, I was in chandler, Arizona (just outside of Phoenix) for the first ever NASM Optima conference (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I came out of there with my head spinning after four days of workshops led by some of the top fitness and human movement specialists in the world. Now, I’m implementing much of what I learned into my client’s workouts and we’re “feeling the benefits!”
While attending the Optima conference, I was very surprised and honored to be recognized with an award for completing the NASM Master Trainer program this year. What a thrill it is to be a part of this elite group of fitness experts!
My “at home” training business is going very well and people are really enjoying and benefitting from their workouts. For those who aren’t able to train at home, I now have an affiliation with the Fayetteville Athletic Club in Dewitt and we’re able to train there any time. It’s a great facility with a great staff!
